Context

Since 2019, Ghana has received an increasing number of refugees and asylum seekers fleeing violence in the Sahel, especially from Burkina Faso. As of August 2024, over 12,000 refugees and asylum seekers are registered in the country, mainly in the Upper East and Upper West regions.

  • Overseeing general administration: HR management, staff contracts, personnel files, and leave tracking.
  • Maintaining financial dashboards and contributing to project steering meetings.
  • Ensuring proper treasury management (fund requests, advances, payments, bank reconciliations).
  • Coordinating with field office heads in Upper East and Upper West for expense tracking and fund justification.
